Join the Wakehurst P&C Team
The Wakehurst Public School P&C welcomes expressions of interest from parents, grandparents and other members of our school community who would like to get involved and support the work of the P&C.
Joining the P&C is a great way to contribute to our school community, connect with other families and staff, and help create opportunities and initiatives that benefit all Wakehurst students.
We’re currently looking to fill two roles for 2027:
Band Committee Member
Join our Band Committee and help support Wakehurst’s school band program as several of our current Band families prepare to move on to high school.
Communications Team Member
Help keep our school community connected by supporting P&C communications, including newsletters, website updates, social media and promotion of school events and initiatives.
You don’t need previous P&C experience — just a willingness to get involved and contribute in a way that works for you.

Our volunteers come from a wide range of backgrounds and are balancing busy lives, careers and family commitments. As a team, we work collaboratively to ensure responsibilities are shared and manageable, while continuing to support the important work that helps our school community thrive.
