The aim of the band program is to provide musical enrichment through the playing of an instrument. The school band program offers Year 3-6 students an opportunity to join the training or concert band, which is directed by a professional conductor. Students train twice a week and play at various performances throughout the year, both at the school and in the community including various festivals. Band students also get the opportunity to attend a two-day band camp. Students joining the band for the first time will start in the training band and then progress to the concert band in their second year.
